Working from a foundation of warmth and encouragement, Leah uses creative and experiential therapeutic approaches to help children, families, and individuals build on strengths to increase self-confidence, resiliency, and the ability to manage stress and anxiety. She helps parents build strong families with practical, research-based tools and approaches to raising kids and teens with character, compassion, and courage. Areas of particular focus and research include anxiety, the intersection of child development and technology, and family dynamics. Leah's practice is located at the Thousand Oaks California area.



Leah has an MA in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the Adler Graduate School. She is also a Certified Positive Discipline Parenting Educator (CPDPE) and a Certified Positive Discipline Classroom Educator (CPDCE).


Leah has a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in English from the University of British Columbia, a Diploma in Broadcast Studies from the National Institute of Broadcasting, and a Diplôme d' Études de la Langue Française from the Centre de Linguistique Appliquée in Besançon, France.
